American, late 19th century. A Victorian secretary display cabinet, or side-by-side secretary, having carved and pierced crest, carved molding with leaf and vine design, the left side with paneled glass door opening to wooden shelves, the right side with small cabinet with two paneled glass doors over a burl veneered compartment, above three burled dovetailed drawers, all over two dovetailed drawers with burled panels and brass pulls, all resting on brass casters; ht. 82, wd. 49.5, dp. 14 in.
Unable to open compartment beneath small double-door glass cabinet. Surface wear expected from age and use.Condition
