- Lot Description
.22 S/L/LR, 25" barrel, no S/N. Blued finish with tubular magazine, smooth walnut pistol-gripped stock. This circa 1940/41 factory-scoped Model 72 is equipped with a 2.75-power scope and features a 32B open rear sight which can be viewed through the see-through bases. Note that the rear base is on the receiver ring. Factory-scoped Model 72 rifles are very difficult to find today.

Very fine, retains most of the blued finish with some lightly scattered surface oxidation. Mechanically functional, fine, bright bore. Stock with light handling marks. Clear optics.
