- Lot Description
.45-70, 32.625" barrel, S/N 456351. Blued and case hardened finish, walnut stock. Standard lock markings, 1884 marked beech block, crisp SWP/1889 cartouche and Circle-P inspection. Correct "R" marked Buffington rear sight. Original sling swivels and cleaning rod. Includes US M-1873 socket bayonet and leather sling.
Very good to fine. Breech block with most of its vibrant case color, barrel with blue that is concealed by old, dried grease. Mechanically crisp, fine bore, stock with nicks and dings and crisp marks. Bayonet very good to fine.Condition
