- Lot Description
.54 caliber, 8.5” round barrel. Swivel rammer, brass mounts, wood stock with “W.A.T.” inspector’s cartouche and “23” on left side of stock above trigger.
Condition
This gun is in overall very good condition showing a brown patina on metal surfaces, uncleaned taffy colored brass mounts and a crisp action. The markings are very good. Both the upper tang and the lockplate are dated 1847. The bore is good and the stock is very good +.
