Sixth plate daguerreotype of a miner posed with a shovel, pickaxe, and gold pan. Housed in a paper case with an inked note affixed to the pad reading: Theophilus Larned with his mining tools, pick, shovel and pan for panning gold in California in 1850 or 1851. Grandma Bliton's father who was born in Hopewell, Ontario Co., N.Y. June 1, 1828 & died in Ann Arbor Jan 3, 1903 aged 74 yrs, 7 months, 2 days.
Sixth plate daguerreotype of a boy posed with his puppy, the boy's expression and the dog's pose suggesting a possible pet postmortem. Housed in a paper case, reinforced at the spine.

SHIPPING. At the request of the buyer, Cowan's will authorize the shipment of purchased items. Shipments usually occur within two weeks after payment has been received.
