New York: Vermilye, 1838. 5th Edition. Inscribed, "With the compliments of a granddaughter of Captain Edmund Fanning, September 1905." Bound with 26th Congressional document, "Memorial of Edmund Fanning," soliciting a loan from Congress. 7 3/4 by 4 7/8 inches in original patterned green cloth binding - gilt titling to spine. N. Currier lithograph frontispiece.
