Tibetan, 18th century. A framed gouache Thangka painting, on fine linen canvas. Housed in a wooden frame; 19.25 x 14.5 in. (sight).
Provenance: Property from the Historic Charles L. Shrewsberry House, Madison, INSold to Benefit Historic Madison, Inc., Madison, INCondition
Fine linen laid on late 17th-early 18th century laid paper, having a few abrasions and paint losses, retains red paint borders alonmg each edge.
