Three Colt's Patent Iron Bullet Molds
Lot of three iron Colt's Patent bullet molds, two for .44 caliber and one marked "36 R" & "45 A" on the right "leg" near the hinge.Condition
All three molds are in overall good condition. One of the .44 caliber molds shows an "H" under the Colt's Patent stamp on the sprue cutter. The second .44 caliber mold is marked "44 H" on the right "leg" near the hinge. The Third mold with the "36 R" and "45 A" markings on the right "leg" by the hinge is unusual and has a different configuration in the body of the mold being two flat nosed double grooved cavities as opposed to the usually found round ball and pointed single groove cavities variety of mold.
