- Lot Description
23.75" spear point blade with median ridge. Brass hilt with single knuckle bow and forward-swept quillon. Muzzle ring in guard approximately .90" in diameter. Outer face of guard numbered 165, likely to match the bayonet to the rifle, and is also marked WW or MM. Leather grip. Early 19th century Swedish flintlock rifle saber bayonet.
Good. Oxidization on blade, brass with mellow patina. Leather grip worn. Spring still present in muzzle ring.Condition
