Complete run of 12 calendar cards for January-December 1904. Cincinnati, OH: Strobridge Litho. Co., 1903. Each 3.5 x 6 in. Accompanied by original box.
An exquisite set of cards produced for the Bullock Electric Manufacturing Company, featuring Nos. 25-36 from the series "Great Men of Science & Engineering." Subjects include Sir Oliver L. Lodge, Thomas A. Edison, William Spottiswoode, Andre E. Blondel, Charles Proteus Stein Metz, Sir William Siemens, Alexander Graham Bell, Dr. Michael Idvorski Pupin, Frank J. Sprague, Joseph Henry, Sir William Crookes, and Nikola Tesla. Each card includes a portrait of the subject surrounded by fabulous Arts and Crafts designs, with biographical information printed on reverse.
Slight edge wear to cards, but overall near excellent condition. Wear to original box.Condition
