- Lot Description
American and British, late 18th-early 20th century. Nine sterling table items, including a pair of late George III salt dishes with glass liners, lidded salt dish with glass liner, small bowl, tea strainer, teabag holder, small sifter, weighted pedestal dish, and weighted compote with rose pattern; all marked STERLING; PLUS, one small silverplated tray, and one 800 silver demitasse spoon; rose compote ht. 2.75, dia. 6.25 in., total weighable silver wt. 9.575ozt (298g).
Sterling mark on tea strainer very faint. Small bowl and George III salt dishes monogrammed. Compote, pedestal dish, and bowl have a few small dents.Condition
