** Springfield Model 1922 MII Rifle
.22LR caliber, 24" barrel, S/N 1083B . Parkerized finish, bright bolt, smooth pistol-gripped, finger-grooved stock. Receiver marked in five-lines: U.S. / SPRINGFIELD / ARMORY / MODEL OF 1922 / MII CAL. .22 over serial number. Bolt handle marked NS/M2 , bolt draw numbered D28223-2 and with matching serial number to the gun applied with electric pencil. Barrel marked behind front sight: S.A./[flaming ordnance bomb]/6-25 . Reverse buttstock with light S.A./R cartouche in a box, crisp [circle]-P proof in pistol grip. Checkered metal buttplate with trapdoor for cleaning kit, stock with hole under plate, void of contents. Lyman No. 48 receiver mounted peep rear sight, M2 front sight with " R " marked hood, sling swivels. Includes a single, unmarked 5-round magazine. A very nice M1922 rifle arsenal upgraded to MII specifications.
Fine as arsenal refinished. Retains most of the Parkerized finish with some minor wear. Clear markings in metal, mechanically functional, fine bore. Stock lightly cleaned, with cartouche weak and some light handling marks.Condition
