- Lot Description
English, first quarter 19th century. A 100-piece porcelain service by Spode in the Temple Blue pattern with gilt rims, including thirty-two dinner plates, fourteen low soup bowls, fifteen fruit bowls, fourteen salad plates, two square vegetable bowls, a water pitcher, a covered soup tureen with undertray and ladle, two covered sauce tureens with undertrays, a reticulated center bowl, two reticulated oval platters, twelve demitasse cups with lids, and four platters. Each piece with blue stamp mark; tureen tray lg. 14.5 in., dinner plate dia. 9.75 in.

Condition
Ladle does not match. One vegetable bowl missing lid. Moderate gilt loss to soup tureen and undertray. Varying gilt loss to most dishes.
One sauce tureen with large chip. One demitasse cup with small interior chip. One salad plate with major repair. Chip to foot of one vegetable dish. Several salad plates, fruit bowls, soup bowls and dinner plates with minor hairline, mainly visible from underside only.
