- Lot Description
.45 centerfire caliber, 35" barrel, S/N 2223. Barrel and frame have been cleaned. Full-stock with three spring-retained barrel bands. Rear sling swivel integral with trigger guard. Four-part action. Blade front sight with rear ladder sight marked from 1-4 and from 5-7 when raised. Top of barrel marked "WHITNEY-ARMS-CO WHITNEYVILLE CONN." Caliber markings cleaned from front of breech. Tang marked with patent dates. Butt marked with "S.C." initials. Slotted ramrod has been cut.
Fair. Cleaned finish has a pewter patina. Stock has numerous marks,dents and gouges. Bore fair with some cratering.Condition
