German, late 19th-early 20th century. A .900 silver advertising match safe in the form of a cigar box with enamel decoration to the top and sides, featuring a sunburst reading Sol Habana, a scene of the setting sun over Cuba, reading Sol Habana / Fabrica De Tabacos Superiores, and a sun surrounded by floral decorations, reading Sol, with full marks to interior rim and striker on bottom; lg. 1 7/8, wd. 1 1/8 in.
Several areas of enamel loss. Bottom slightly concave.Condition
