Smith & Wesson Model 2 Army, aka Model 2 Old Model Revolver with Leather Holster
.32 RF Long caliber, 4" octagonal barrel length, S/N 51022. Markings on barrel Smith & Wesson Springfield Mass. Rosewood grips with square butt profile. Blued finish on metal parts. This is an almost never-seen example of the rare 4" barrel length, of which only approximately 50 were mfd.Condition
The rosewood grips are in very good condition with minor nicks and dings. Most of the original varnish remains. Some of the original blue finish remains on the barrel that blends into a plum. The iron frame has a nice patina on right and left side. The markings are sharp, the gun has crisp edges. Accompanied by a genuine and equally rare period leather holster. The holster has some scuffing and cracking on the leather. The holster is missing the button to fasten. Overall condition is very good.
