.32 rimfire caliber, 5” octagonal barrel, S/N 5086. Blued finish, rosewood grips.
This early No. 2 Army is in overall very good to fine condition showing the majority of its original finish. There is a small scratched area on the right side barrel flat toward the muzzle. Front sight has been filed down a bit. The action is crisp, the markings sharp and the rosewood grips are overall near fine showing the majority of their original finish. The bore is overall good with some pitting at the breech end. There is a small “X” carved on the bottom rear portion of each grip and a carved “--“ on either side of the grip butts. Both markings appear to have been done long ago.
A nice four digit Old Model Army with lots of finish that could have seen use in the Civil War.
