- Lot Description
American, early 19th century. A slant front desk in cherry, with dovetailing detail on top edges, the fall front in flame cherry opening to an interior fitted with eight drawers and nine pigeonholes, over four graduated and dovetailed drawers flanked on either side by reeded columns, all resting on ogee bracket feet; ht 45.25, wd. 44.5, dp. 23 in.
Hinges on fall front are newer. Split along right side and two splits along left side. General wear consistent with age and use.Condition
