- Lot Description
American, early 19th century. A group of six Windsor side chairs in mixed woods, with medallion crests and bamboo-turned spindles and legs. Retaining old black paint with floral medallions; oah. 35 in. (each).
Provenance: Property from the Collection of Dr. James and Betty Sutherland, Cincinnati, OH
Condition
All with wear and paint loss. One chair with replaced medallion, some others with reglued medallions. Original paint with some later restoration. All have tacks and fragments of labels remaining on the underside.
