Late 19th-mid-20th century. A group of seven silverplated tablewares and accessories, including:
one basket bowl marked Made in Italy;
two small trays, including one footed marked England and one circular marked GILT;
one small footed serving dish marked H.W. & Co. on underside;
one cylindrical vessel or vase, unmarked;
one inkwell, unmarked;
and one candleholder, unmarked;
plus, a pair of small copper shoes, unmarked;
basket bowl ht. 3.25, dia. 8 in.
Loss to silver on candleholder. Copper darkened on shoes. Loss to silver on inkwell. Scratching, small dents consistent with age and use.Condition
