Sheraton Inlaid Four-Drawer Chest
American (Mid-Atlantic states), 19th century. A Sheraton chest of drawers in cherry, having a rectangular top and paneled sides, with four dovetailed, graduated, and cockbeaded drawers, fitted with brass pulls, and inlaid with lightwood, kite-shaped escutcheons, the carved apron having lightwood, geometric inlays in the center, all rising on high turned legs; ht. 40.75, wd. 39, dp. 20.25 in.
The top with some stains and a few small age splits near the edges.
