.56 caliber, 7" stepped round barrel with engraved baluster turned rings at the transitions and a flared, octagonal muzzle. Lock with gold oval marked I INNES flanked by a pair of fleur-de-lis. An inset oval on the breech is marked INNES / EDINB. All metal construction with engraved boarder lines with gold-gilt highlights and a fully engraved lobe butt with foliate motifs. Engraved crest and escutcheon on backstrap. Standard Scottish pattern lock with rounded and fenced bridled iron pan and flat swan-neck cock. Ball trigger, belt hook on reverse.
