- Lot Description
Printed broadside, approx. 7 x 8.75 in. $5,000 Reward/ Lost at the Parker House Hotel, Lincoln St., Near The Terminus, Chelsea, Don Roderigo's Pocket Book. Probably Boston, n.d., ca early-to-mid 19th century.
Satirical broadside possibly advertising for a performance or play. "Call early, as the First Act commences at Twelve, with the Spoilt Child, better known by the name of the Received Infant, who in the heat of passion fought the Monkey in the Dust-hole and came out without a scratch."
Condition
Evenly toned. Chipping along the top edge line with one larger loss which does affect the text. Worn along the folds with some tearing along fold lines. Tape used on verso to repair tears along fold lines.
Item is in good condition. Original elements to table with repairs.
