- Lot Description
hand-spun wool, with a partial Two Grey Hills woven on a sample loom; a penny is glued to the side; overall height 25 in. x 24 in.

Included is a dated photograph of the weaver and her display. Noted in the collection history: Made by Sarah Ashley - wool was shorned [sic] from her sheep, hand carded, spun, and dyed by Sarah. She wouldn't tell us what the penny on the base was for, she just smiled when asked about it.
