American, mid 19th century. Seven rush seat chairs, including six side chairs with rounded arch crests and turned splats over rush seating, rising on sabre legs and stretcher supports, and one corner chair with pillow crest on shaped horizontal splats over rush seating and turned legs joined by stretchers; each side chair ht. 35, wd. 18. dp. 18 in.
Condition
Varying degrees of repair to each chair, including to splats and re-gluing of legs. Corner chair has repair to right and left corners of pillow top and to left horizontal slat.
