- Lot Description
English, mid-20th century. A porcelain female mallard, modeled by Ronald van Ruyckevelt (b. 1928) for Royal Worcester, with species, artist signature, and factory marks on underside of base. Fitted wooden base and certificates included, PLUS a male porcelain mallard of the same make; ht. 11.75 in.
Provenance: Property from the collection of Katherine Raible, Lexington, Kentucky
Condition
Female mallard has chip to one wing and a larger break on other wing. Male mallard is broken off of base, with beak broken as well.
