Rossi/Pelikan 1990s Lotus and Pearl LE Fountain Pen
This pen exhibits a design quite popular in Rossi pens. It is the Lotus Blossom, here seen adorning three sections of this large, Pelikan M800 pen. The tassie sports a gold Pelikan logo insert above the distinct Pelikan clip. The basic pen is of a gleaming black acrylic that shows in striking contrast the heavy, solid 18k yellow gold accents of this entire pen. The barrel has an upper and lower band of lotus design embracing mother-of-pearl slabs in an octagonal surround. The barrel band bears the standard "Pelikan-Germany" marking along with "P 18K R" Rossi marking and hand-engraved "11/20" the limited edition number. The pen is piston fill with level viewing and is fitted with a Pelikan two-tone, solid 18K gold "O3B" nib. Pen comes in mint, in special order wooden box. Few Rossi creations are fitted with mother-of-pearl due to the danger in breathing the "shell dust" when grinding.Condition
