- Lot Description
American, 19th century. An assembled group of eleven yellow ware molds and hollowware with Rockingham glaze including:
a palm tree pattern syrup pitcher with U. S. Pottery Co. ribbon mark; ht. 7.75 in.;
a boot-form flask; lg. 7.25 in.;
two Turk's Head cake molds with center hole; each dia. approx. 9 in.;
one floral cake mold; dia. 7 in.;
two handled mugs; larger ht. 3.75, wd. 5.25 in.;
one small bowl with green glaze accents and ribbed exterior; dia. 5 in.;
a similarly green glazed tall container; ht. 5.5, dia. 4.5 in.;
a planter; ht. 5.25, dia. 7.25 in.;
and one two-handled red ware container, possibly a tobacco jar without lid, with paneled exterior; ht. 4.75, lg. 8.5 in.
Overall general wear and fine craquelure, syrup pitcher with few instances of superficial glaze loss, small chip on lip of flask, one Turk's Head cake mold with chip to lip of inner hole as well as at exterior rim, chip to foot of floral mold, one mug with minor chips to rim, planter with stones on exterior surface, tobacco jar with crack above one handle appearing to be original.Condition
