Robert Fabe is an iconic Cincinnati artist. After studying at the Arts Students League in New York, he returned to his home town where he taught at the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning until 1987. He is known for his landscapes, street scenes, and beach scenes, often lively depictions with children. This nude was purportedly painted by the artist during an art class, and retained by one of the students.

At the request of the buyer, Cowan's will authorize the shipment of purchased items. Shipments usually occur within two weeks after payment has been received.
