American (Boston), first half 19th century. A leather covered document box with decorative brass tacks, the hinged lid opening to a painted paper lined interior with label reading Robert Burr, Trunk Manufacturer, the exterior retaining an old travel sticker for the American House Hotel of Concord, N.H.; ht. 6.75, wd. 15.75, dp. 10.25 in.
Wear consistent with age. Interior straps broken. Minor losses to interior paper. Damage to leather along bottom and lid.Condition
