Richard Rugg Sterling Silver Serving Tray
English, 1778. A sterling silver serving tray with a scroll and shell border, engraved armorial to center, raised on three scroll and hoof feet, with hallmarks for London, 1778, and RR (Richard Rugg), inscription to underside The Favor of Mrs. A. Taylor to T & A. Holloway / 23rd Dec. 1778; dia. 12.5 in., silver wt. 28.54ozt (888g).Condition
Some minor surface wear as would be expected with age and use. Some minor pitting to sides and back of feet.
