Remington Model 1875 Single Action Revolver
.44-40 caliber, 7.5" barrel, S/N 233. Blued finish, lanyard ring. Smooth wood grips.
This Remington is in overall very good + condition showing a pleasing patina on metal surfaces with traces of original blue finish in protected areas. The action is crisp, the markings are very good and the bore is fine overall. The grips are very good+ and display a "44 W" stamped on the lower portion of the left grip. An attempt by Remington to compete with Colt's Single Action Army revolver.
