- Lot Description
.22 WRF, 27" barrel, S/N 928532. Blued finish, smooth pistol gripped walnut stock with finger groove forend. This circa 1937 - 1939 factory-scoped .22 WRF Model 68 has the later 2.75-power scope which is most likely not correct. The eye relief is so short it is nearly impossible to get a good sight picture with this scope. Also, note that the base spacing is wider than that usually found for the 2.75-power scope. The serial number is below the wood line. There are no proofs. Very few Model 68s were delivered in .22 WRF and fewer were equipped with factory scopes.
**Requires C&R or FFLVery fine, retains most of the blued finish with some lightly scattered surface oxidation. Mechanically functional, fine, bright bore. Stock with light handling marks. Clear optics, scope body with some finish loss.Condition
