**Rare Smith & Wesson New Model No. 3 Target Revolver with Smith & Wesson Shoulder Stock
.44 S&W Russian caliber, 8" barrel, S/N 31912. Barrel with S&W address minus patent dates. With matching serial numbers throughout; barrel is unnumbered. Blue finish with brass blade front sight and target rear sight on top of latch. Checkered walnut grips. Includes walnut shoulder stock with checkered hard rubber S & W buttplate.

The bore is in excellent condition. The barrel retains most of the original blue finish, with some areas fading to grey near the muzzle and near the cylinder along the underside. The frame retains most of the original blue finish, with areas of fading along the grip straps, triggerguard and cylinder. The grips and shoulder stock are in very good condition.
