Rare N.P. Ames Dirk
5" spearpoint blade, .75" width at ricasso, 9.25" overall. German silver guard and grip with ivory scales. Leather scabbard with silver plated throat and tip. Blade engraved with floral motifs, urn, and cornucopia. Ricasso marked " N.P Ames/Cutler/Springfield. " Grip marked " N.P. AMES. CUTLER ".
Fair to good. Blade has some oxidation with legible markings and engravings. Ivory shows some cracks. Scabbard shows some wear from age with some silver tarnishing.Condition
