.22 S/L/LR, 25" barrel, S/N 4246.Blued finish, smooth, pistol-gripped walnut stock with plain forend.This circa 1940-41 factory-scoped Model 69 is equipped with a later 2.75-power scope and receiver peep sight. Note the large blunt forearm. This gun has British proofs and an added serial number. It was one of the guns Winchester sent to England for home guard use at the beginning of WWII. It has a correct and very scarce 69-marked .22 SHORT magazine.
Very fine, retains most of the blued finish with some lightly scattered surface oxidation. Mechanically functional, fine, bright bore. Stock with light handling marks. Clear optics.
