With Twelve Large Photographic Views, by Francesca H. Wilson, Author of "Truth Better Than Fiction," Etc." London: Sampson Low, Marston, Low and Searle, Crown Buildings, 188, Fleet Street, 1876. 4to, publisher's green cloth gilt, 86pp, 12 mounted photographs, each 5.625 x 7.25 in.
Including the following photographs, each with imprinted title and caption on mount: Great Gateway at Futtehpore Sikree; Golden Temple of Umritsur; Tomb of Runjeet Singh at Lahore; Taj Mahal and Garden, Agra; Tomb of Isman Dowlah, Agra; Tomb of Sheik Selim Christi at Futtehpore, Sikree; Cashmere Gate, Delhi; Ruins of the Flagstaff Tower and Other Buildings in the Residency at Lucknow; Bailey Gate, Residency, Lucknow; Havelock's Tomb at Lucknow; Memorial Well at Cawnpore; Suttee Chowra, or Massacre Ghaut, at Cawnpore.
Condition is very good. Green cloth bind has some wear, but looks pretty good with bright gold titling. The hinges are a bit shaken, but the text block is clean, and the tipped in photographs are beautiful, in excellent condition. Some pages have come loose.Condition
