probably Sioux; stem crafted with a gently tapering form and central groove filled with red pigment; brass wire wraps two areas of the stem and is offset by sets of eight brass tacks, length 21 in.; T-shaped bowl with beveled anterior projection, length 7.75 in., overall length 27.5 in.
