The books are in original pictorial boards and both measure 14 1/2 by 10 3/4 inches; beautifully printed in photogravure -- the first is one of the most important photo books published in the last half of the 20th Century. Both books to sell together as a single lot.
The Decisive Moment is fresh and Near Fine with just a very slight "crimping" at top and bottom of the spine. The dust jacket shows wear with a 3 1/2 inch closed tear to the front panel; with edge chipping and toning, but still quite presentable. The board covers of "The Europeans" show bumps to the corners with some scuffing and evidence of dust jacket adhesion to the rear cover. The dust jacket is not present. Both books retain the original captions pamphlets which are laid-in.Condition
