Peter and Ann Bateman Georgian Sterling Teapot and Beakers
English, late 18th-early 19th century. A pair of sterling beakers by Peter & Ann Bateman of London, 1798, fully hallmarked on underside, one with initials ISR, and a diminutive sterling teapot with wooden handle and finial, engraved on one side with a winged beast, fully hallmarked with obscured maker's mark and date mark 1823; teapot ht. 5.75, beaker ht. 3 in., approximate wt. 17.926ozt (557.5g) (including handle).Condition
Beaker bases have light dents. Several dents around base of teapot handle.
