- Lot Description
Persian Hurricane Lustres
Late 19th century. A pair of glass hurricane lustres, each with gilt and enamel decoration and images of the Shah Abbas; ht. of each 31 in.Condition
Chips to scalloped rims of each. Gilt and paint loss to both. Two cracks in one dome (where prisms hang). Deep scratch around most of one foot, underside. One metal replacement piece in node. Some chips in prisms and few missing decorative beads. Needs cleaning.
