Sixth plate tintype featuring full-length portrait of two New York infantrymen standing together in a studio setting, holding up an American flag between them. Both wear early 1861 New York State issue shell jackets, the buttons highlighted in gold. Tintype with Neff plate patent, housed in full thermoplastic case.
