Pair of Meissen Porcelain Figures
German, 19th century. A pair of Meissen porcelain figures, depicting a man and a woman dressed in 18th century hunting attire with tri-corner hats. Each is leaning against a rifle and standing next to a seated hound. Undersides marked with blue underglaze Meissen crossed swords and inscribed T 80 and 81, with impressed 123 and 162; ht. 9.25 in.
Both figures have overpainting on hats, left hands and small areas of costume. Paint loss to sheath of man's dagger.
