- Lot Description
American, early 19th century. Housed in early frames. One has text in heart shapes, the other has text in a laurel wreath. One example dated 1807, the other is undated; largest 12 x 15 in.
Provenance: Property from the Collection of Jane D. Diehl, Cincinnati, OHCondition
Examined out of the frame. Toning to each, a few tears inside the plate and one horizontal tear (about 1 in.) starting from the right edge of one fraktur, one circular loss of paper to the top edge of the other fraktur, some water damage and creases to each.
