Pair of Black Marble Classical Urns
French, 19th century. Two ovoid marble urns having side gilt bronze laurel handles surmounting a woman's face in the manner of a crown, and decorated with gilt bronze scroll and garland decorations. Each urn mounted on a gilt bronze base resting on a marble pedestal and having a domed lid with a gilt bronze fruit finial; ht. of each 20 in. (including pedestal and lid).Condition
Both urns have broken bellflower pieces (pieces present but unattached) as well as multiple bellflower pieces loose or repaired. One of the swag mounts is loose on each.
