Painted Footlocker WACO Pilot Harold Johnson
Harold Johnson was Barnstormer and test pilot renowned for being the first pilot to perform a number of aerobatic maneuvers, including loops, spins and snap rolls, in his cumbersome, all-metal Ford Tri-motor, Registration number NC-9610. Johnson reportedly performed 17 consecutive loops during one demonstration. Lot includes early WWI Montana peak hat with early aviation hat cord, ceramic tray with Waco logo, Waco stationary, Waco workers pins, photos, books and side caps, a set of aviator glasses named to David H. Herr, Wright Field Dayton, Ohio, and more.
