- Lot Description
American, (probably Baltimore), 1815-1825. A set of six decorated side chairs, with tablet tops, rush seats, original faux-rosewood decoration and old scenic decoration on the tablets depicting town views; oah. 32 in., seat ht. 18.25 in. (each).
Provenance: Property from the Descendants of Bertha Benkard Rose, Oyster Bay, NY and Tucson, AZ
Condition
Tablets with later screws. Some restoration to paint, largely original.
