American, late 19th-early 20th century. A group of five occupational shaving mugs, including one for a pocket watch repairman with the gilt inscription J. R. Kipple above the painting, one with a fish motif and a floral border with the gilt inscription John Wm. Wilson in the center and marked Baker & Co., one depicting a water pitcher and faucet, marked T & V on the underside, one medical mug with a painting of the red cross and the name G. Walrath, M. D beneath the painting, and a Jemco mug depicting a hatchet and a furnace, marked F. R. J on the underside; largest ht. 4, w. 5.5 in.
