Polack, J.S. MANNERS AND CUSTOMS OF THE NEW ZEALANDERS; WITH NOTES CORROBORATIVE OF THEIR HABITS, USAGES, ETC., AND REMARKS TO INTENDING EMIGRANTS, WITH NUMEROUS CUTS DRAWN ON WOOD. London: James Madden, 1840. First Edition. 2 Volumes, 8 1/8 by 5 1/8 inches in original blindstamped cloth with gilt titling to the spines. With folding engraved map at the front of volume 1.
Ex-library with round paper labels on spines; and 19th C. Ohio College library bookplates to the pastedowns -- no other library indicia. The map has two small closed "nicks," but is in VG condition. The lower joint of volume 1 is splitting a bit. Contents clean and fresh.Condition
