Gray wool triple breasted tailcoat, trimmed in black and gold braid, gilt staff pattern buttons embossed "NHG." Black epaulets fringed in white cord and a white leather belt with rectangular nickel belt plate with embossed date "1816." Matching gray trousers are ca 1910 and have black and white side stripes. 1872 pattern black felt shako has leather crown, visor and trim, yellow feather plume, brass state seal frontplate with pierced nickel monogram "NHG" and infantry side buttons, interior with sweatband and "R. DABOCK & CO." maker's paper label.
Fair to good. Trim on the coat shows noticeable wear, collar lining worn. Shako visor attached but weak.
SHIPPING. At the request of the buyer, Cowan's will authorize the shipment of purchased items. Shipments usually occur within two weeks after payment has been received.
